jazz piano concert.
hmm...
i've got six tix,
but in the end only 4 were taken, including mine..
plus gif kiko 1 as a memory..
the concert..
erm..
seriously speaking i only heard 2-3 jazz pieces..
but the teacher is really good wid jazz feel...
he can come up wid anything..
i think tats wad Mark was referring to as good player..
cuz he can play anything...
anything impromptu...
e teacher said he had tis talented kid,
i tink mayb he's young, so still not there yet, perhaps giv him a few more yrs, he can play great pieces, or mayb come up impromptu jus like the teacher :)
but overrall, great attempt for all of the performers,
all very brave,
cuz i experience this kinda thing b4..
last time i took part in this international violin & piano competition.
in my category, according to my age, i was the worst..
cuz i know i seriously not prepared for the competition.
but my teacher ask me to try..
i prepared the Reverie by Debussy,
quite good.
thn the judge purposely choose Chopin's Etude Op.10 no.3 ..
compared to Mozart's Sonata in F, of cuz i would also choose Chopin's Etude to see the student's standard.
well, i promise i will go back there to challenge with Chopin's Etude..
But not now, i'm still not prepared, wasn't prac tt recently, was prac my exam pieces..
b'cuz i'm not happy with my results,
i'm sure to get at least a merit with my second time,
i swear i wont slip my notes,
i will perfect them, and my scales and arpeggios, and hopefully sightreading was tt diff that day XD
my aural, i'm still stepping it up...
tis wk got lesson le..
i haven prac...

sure she will scold me x.x
